Coolmoor Australian Shepherd Puppies
Thank you for your interest in a Coolmoor puppy. All of our litters are planned in the best interest of the breed and our puppy buyers. Temperament, health, and adherence to the breed standard are of utmost importance to us. While puppies are wonderfully fun, we do take our pups, their development, and their placement in their new homes very seriously. We ensure that all of our puppies are healthy and well socialized with other dogs, cats, and children. Our puppies receive individual attention daily to help them develop into wonderful dogs.

In addition to socialization, we use imprinting, stimulation, habituation, conditioning, enrichment, and training techniques to ensure that each pup has exceptional development opportunities. For example, our pups are litter trained, begin learning to come when called, to sit, to down, and experience desensitization to a variety of distractions while they are still in our care.

Additionally, our pups receive their vaccinations, microchips, and veterinary wellness exams before going to their new homes.

Tornado now lives in Tennessee with his co-owner, Kathy Thigpen of Sale Creek Veterinarian Services. Watch for Tornado in the conformation ring in late-winter 2011. We are super excited about this handsome boy and can't wait to see how he does in the show ring!

Scandal went Hall of Fame Dam #313 with her first litter! She is a wonderful mother who has passed on her amazing traits. Scandal is very bright and is a joy to train, but I admit she is very fun loving. To borrow a term from one of my friends, she was “born without a conscience.” She is so pleased with herself and sashays, instead of walks, everywhere she goes. Scandal has a lot of energy and is very curious. Scandal is trained in conformation, obedience, rally, tracking, and herding.

James & Duesey: December 23, 2011

"James" () and "Duesey" () have been bred for an outstanding litter and have produced 3 Black Tris and 4 Blue Merles on December 23, 2011. All puppies are red factored. Reservations are now being taken on this litter, and puppies should be ready for their new homes in late February 2012.
